FoodieScan uses near infrared spectroscopy

FoodieScan has a sensor that emits light through the upper window of the device. It collects the reflected light, convert it to a digital signal, and sends it to our cloud server. FoodieScan has algorithms that analysis the food or beverage and present the results on your FoodieScan app.

Do you always get the right ingredients on food label? Do you know your allergies? For those reasons, we allow you to find the number of calories, allergens, chemicals and ingredients.

Not to worry, the scan takes a less time of around 1-3 seconds. The information will be displayed on your application within 2-3 seconds. A total process of 5-6 seconds.
